Common coaching questions

Everything you might want to know before booking your first session. Still curious? I'd be happy to answer personally.

Coaching is a collaborative process that creates space to step back, gain clarity, explore new perspectives, and move toward meaningful change. The coaching experience is focused on the present and future, helping each person identify what matters to them and take intentional steps forward.
An integrative approach brings together different coaching approaches and tools rather than relying on a single method. The coaching experience is adapted to each person's needs, goals, personality, and what emerges throughout the sessions.
Coaching can support a wide range of personal and professional challenges, including transitions, relationships, confidence, decision-making, personal growth, career questions, life balance, and situations where someone feels stuck or wants a different perspective.
The coaching experience draws on three complementary dimensions:
  • Presence — creating awareness of thoughts, emotions, sensations, and the present moment.
  • Reflection — stepping back to explore experiences, patterns, beliefs, and perspectives.
  • Transformation — creating meaningful change by shifting perspectives, challenging limiting patterns, and moving toward greater alignment.
Each session is shaped around what the person wants to explore. Sessions may include thoughtful questioning, reflection, exercises, moments of centering, visualization, metaphors or other experiential tools. The approach remains flexible and is adapted to the person and the topic being explored.
There is a clear intention and direction for each session, while leaving room for what naturally emerges. The coaching process is structured enough to create progress, but flexible enough to respond to each person's needs.
There is no fixed number that works for everyone. Some topics can be explored in a few sessions, while deeper or more complex goals may benefit from a longer coaching journey. A coaching package can provide continuity and allow enough space for meaningful exploration and change.
No. Coaching and therapy have different purposes. Coaching focuses primarily on the present and future, personal development, goals, perspectives, and taking action. It is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. When a situation falls outside the scope of coaching, an appropriate professional referral may be recommended.
Yes. Confidentiality is an important part of creating a safe and respectful coaching environment. What is shared during sessions is treated with discretion, within the professional and ethical boundaries of coaching.
Yes. Coaching sessions are available in English, French, and Arabic, allowing each person to choose the language in which they feel most comfortable expressing themselves.
A 20-minute discovery call offers an opportunity to discuss what they are looking for, ask questions, and determine whether the coaching approach feels like the right fit — without commitment.

Yes. Coaching can complement support from a mentor or psychologist. Each professional brings a different approach, expertise, and purpose.

Depending on the situation — particularly during a major life transition, a significant life change, or when working toward a specific goal — it can be beneficial to combine different forms of support. What matters is that each professional has a clear role and that the different approaches complement one another.

Coaching can therefore complement rather than replace other forms of support when they are needed or desired.
